The following equipment is required: Tray or flat pan with cover. Laboratory hotplate; tongs or other gripping tools. Work should be done under an exhaust vent or fume hood or well ventilated area.

Lens Bond primer can be used for difficult to bond surfaces, like PE, PP silicone or certain elastomers. The primer should be applied to clean surfaces and allowed sufficient time to dry.

Milbond Separation Film:The film produced by this solution prevents adhesion of Milbond adhesive to metal and glass surfaces. It is an easy to apply water soluble film that can be applied by brush, spray or dipping the surfaces that the technician wants to protect. After, drying, however, the surfaces cannot be touched by hand. Should Milbond be inadvertently cured on a protected surface, the cured element can be washed or dipped in water and the cured Milbond will slide off protected surfaces as the coating dissolves.
